Fluo.
A macOS app for interview research.
AI can summarise a pile of interviews in seconds. The question is whether you can trust it. In Fluo, every answer traces back to a moment in a recording, without the text turning into a wall of footnotes.
From claim to source
Click a citation and the source opens in place. The analysis stays where it was, one step back.
AI suggests, the researcher decides
Transcript, snippet, insight, artifact. Insights are suggested, then accepted or rejected. A rejected insight never comes back, and Fluo never marks up a transcript on its own.
Yellow means evidence
One colour, one meaning: something a participant actually said.
Local first
Interviews are personal data. Transcription runs entirely on the Mac, so recordings never leave the device. Analysis with an AI model only happens when you ask for it, and you choose where it runs. For many organisations, that decides whether a tool is allowed at all.
